Aled Carey's 200th
Date of Event Golden Point Cricket Club: Sun Nov 10, 2019 3:45PM

Congratulations to our club legend, Aled Carey for playing his 200th Senior Game this round.

Aled started playing Senior Cricket in the 2004/2005 season has has since built up a reputation as an excellent opening bowler with his slingy action troubling the most accomplished batsmen throughout the grades.  He also is a very technically correct batsmen who has the ability to be watchful or explode if needed.  However, what many people would say the best attribute of Aled is his "team first" nature.  He does what the team needs him to do and the way he encourages all members of the team to play at their best level is something to see.  Never one to miss a training session, he gives his all every week for the team.  And who can forget the "Perfect Over", 6 wickets in 6 balls!!

Aled's Stats current to 9/11/2019

1894 runs at an average of 19.73 (2x100's, 6x50's, HS of 118)

221 wickets at an average of 23.79 (Economy of 3.51, Best Bowling 6/20, 5x5 wicket hauls)

56 Catches
